Pro-tip from Fitbit tech support for charging your Fitbit when away from your computer:

You can plug the [Fitbit] base station into any adapter that has a USB outlet. For example, if you have an iphone you can plug the base station into the outlet adapter on your iphone charger. It just won’t sync until you plug it into the computer. You can purchase a USB outlet adapter for about $10 if you don’t already have one.
