WordCamp Chicago 2011

WordCamp Chicago starts tomorrow and there are still a few tickets left!

WordCamp is a gathering of all things WordPress, the world’s best web publishing tool. WordCamps now occur world wide, and Chicago is proud to host one for our third year. Come one, come all, come be a part of the WordPress community. Code is Poetry!

You don’t have to use WordPress to attend. WordCamps are open to all, so if you’re thinking about starting a blog or you’re interested in switching over to WordPress, or if you’re just looking to meet some friendly folks, then get a ticket! This year it’s hosted at the DePaul Student Center (easy trip down the Red, Brown, or Purple line).

Sweet Home (WordCamp) Chicago
I am attending WordCamp Chicago 2010WordCamp is coming to my home town of Chicago this weekend, at the Chicago Mart Plaza. If you’re in the area, pick up a ticket at http://wordcampchicago.com/registration. You’d better hurry because there are only 16 advanced tickets left. I’ll be there (along with some slick IntenseDebate stickers for your laptop) and I’d love to meet you!

In case you’re not familiar with it:

WordCamp is a conference that focuses on everything WordPress. WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users like you. Everyone from casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and get to know each other. WordCamps are open to WordPress.com and WordPress.org users alike.

Boston-bound for WordCamp

WordCamp Boston 2010
WordCamp Boston is tomorrow, and I’m on my way out to the East Coast to attend (and try some New England clam chowder). If you’re in the Boston area or are planning on attending WordCamp, drop me a line on Twitter to meetup. I’ve got swanky new IntenseDebate stickers for your laptop! :-)
